Michigan announces new admissions process

Historians: affirmative action won't fade away soon
  "As long as residential racial segregation continues, and local school districts are based on that segregation, racial diversity will not occur at that level of the educational system, and the need for universities to provide this experience will continue," says LSA dean and historian Terrence McDonald.
