Survey Response
- first questions are very general, may lose people early on if its
not specific
- what is the point of the survey?

Social Networking Sites - what hooked you? kept you coming back?
- writing is quality; always humorous
- forum format
- talk to similarly obsessed people
- post questions; get information

- friendship on demand (keep in contact with friends)

Two strategies to get people there:
1) Volume of quality content (which we don't have: chicken and egg)
2) Reputation/ Show off expertise ** better option

- Handle = Alter-persona (not associated with true identity/geography)
- networking across specialties

TRICKS:
- tidbits of information (recent posts, popularity, RSS feeds)
