<description>Michigan Terminal System - Manuals - MTS Volume 12: PIL/2 in MTS
Computing Center, University of Michigan
The MTS Manual is a series of volumes that describe in detail the facilities provided by the Michigan Terminal System. PIL, the Pittsburgh Interpretive Language, was designed and implemented at the University of Pittsburgh. PIL/2 in MTS is based on the second version of PIL, with many modifications and additions for the implementation on the Michigan Terminal System.

<description>Michigan Terminal System - Manuals - University of British Columbia Computing Centre - CLPARSER: A Command Language Parsing Facility
Computing Centre, University of British Columbia; Ballard, Alan
This writeup describes a facility that assists in the &#13;
development of programs which perform some kind of syntactic analysis of input. The facility consists of two parts: a self-contained program called the table generator, and a library of subroutines called the parser. The original version of this program was based in part on the Spires parser and grammar analyzer. They have been completely rewritten (in PLUS) and extensively modified for use in MTS. This writeup corresponds to Version 2 of the parser and table generator as implemented in July 1981.
