dc.description | Do you love exploring longitudinal data collections? For more than 30 years, NACDA, the aging archive within ICPSR, has been sharing data on aging populations - a significant amount of which is mostly longitudinal data. In this webinar, we will highlight our most widely used longitudinal collections, and demonstrate the online portal tool from Colectica. The Colectica Portal is a web application which enables data and metadata publication and discovery and has a foundation in DDI-Lifecycle. This tool is particularly great for longitudinal data, since it is built to search and display data documentation for longitudinal and repeated data collections. Users can view variables included in collections across time, side by side. The founders of Colectica, Jeremy Iverson and Dan Smith, will be joining us to talk about key features and use. Webinar features include a guide on how to explore the NACDA Colectica portal; tips on creating a customized dataset and codebook; discussion of benefits of using the portal vs benefits of downloading from NACDA site. | en_US |
