dc.description.abstractThe inclusive production of KSO mesons [tau] lepton decay has been studied using the high resolution spectrometer at the PEP e+e- storage ring operated at [radical sign]s=29 GeV. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 300pb-1. The measured branching fraction is B([tau]---&gt;KSOX-[nu][tau]) = (0.64+/-0.15)%. The measurement is consistent with all KSO coming from the Cabibbo-suppressed decay [tau]---&gt;K*-(890)[nu][tau] with a branching ratio of (1.9+/-0.3+/-0.4)%.en_US
