Abstract: Two patients with renal transplant lithiasis were successfully treated with extracorporealshock-wave lithotripsy (ESWL) in the prone position. Pathogenesis and treatment of transplant lithiasis are discussed. Performing ESWL on renal transplant patients in the prone position has advantages over standard positioning techniques.
