dc.description.abstractB mode ultrasound can be used to evaluate intrathoracic masses that contact the chest wall. It provides a noninvasive technique to distinguish cystic from solid lesions and to assess the internal structure. Four cases are reported in which this procedure was used to provide diagnostic information.en_US
