dc.descriptionSolstice may be the world's first online, peer-reviewed journal. It was featured in articles in Science (AAAS), Science News, and the American Mathematical Monthly. The Editor was also interviewed by Joe Palca (Science), Ivars Petersen (Science News). Lynn Arthur Steen wrote about it in the Monthly. A phone interview of the Editor was conducted by a reporter from the TV show, Nova. It was mentioned in an exhibit in the San Francisco Museum, The Exploratorium. An article from it was a "semi-finalist" in the Pirelli INTERnetional Award Competition (in the top 80 entries out of a pool over over 1000 from around the world).en_US
