The Department of Chemical Engineeringoffers a broad range of research projects that span over all major areas in both traditional chemical engineering (such as fluids, polymers, colloids, reaction engineering, separations, and statistical thermodynamics) and emerging areas (such as DNA sequencing on a chip, gene therapy, metalloprotein drug design, bioinformatics, green chemistry and computational engineering).
