Abstract: Kate Waggoner interviews Dorothy Patterson regarding her experiences as University of Michigan engineering student shortly after World War II. Dorothy (Lewis) Patterson graduated in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering. She worked as an aerothermodynamics engineer at Chrysler Missile, as an aerodynamics engineer at General Dynamics, and as an engineering librarian at General Dynamics/Hughes. She has three children.
