Abstract: Kate Waggoner interviews Frances Holter regarding her experiences as University of Michigan engineering student during and shortly after World War II. Frances (Jenkins) Holder completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Math in 1947 and a Master's in Math in 1951. In addition to raising two daughters, Frances worked as an aeronautical engineer, an engineering instructor at the University of Toledo, and a high school math teacher.
