Abstract: Kate Waggoner interviews Margaret Frank regarding her experiences as University of Michigan engineering student during World War II. Margaret (Barson) Frank graduated in 1946 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and completed a Master’s at Eastern Michigan University in 1973 in Secondary Education and Math. She worked as a chemical engineer in the pharmaceutical industry and as a high school algebra and geometry teacher. Margaret has four children.
