Abstract: Kate Waggoner interviews Tenho Connable regarding her experiences as University of Michigan engineering student shortly before World War II. Tenho (Sihvonen) Connable graduated from the University in 1942 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She later earned a Masters in Computer Science from Western Michigan University. Tenho worked for Shell Chemical and Ethyl Corporation and as a computer science instructor at Western Michigan University. She has four children.
