Abstract: Kate Waggoner interviews Barbara Carter regarding her experiences as University of Michigan zoology graduate student shortly after World War II. Barbara (Quinn) Carter graduated with a Master’s in Zoology in 1952. She worked as a research scientist at both the University and Parke-Davis, as a Professor of Biology at Onondaga Community College, and as a technical writer for Shared Medical Systems. Barbara has four children.
