Description: Five fragments of two columnar sarcophagi found together. ** Sarcophagus A. Columnar sarcophagus with spiral fluted columns and Corinthian capitals, more finely finished than Sarcophagus B. ** (1.) Corner fragment, probably the right back corner. ** Preserves three-fourths of a spiral fluted column and an abraded Corinthian capital, three bands of cornice molding on top, and a small piece of the upper lip of the chest. Back finished with claw ** chisel. Encrusted with lichen, chipped. ** (2.) Lower left back corner. ** Preserves four bands of socle molding, one column base, and a ** small piece of spiral fluted column. Back roughly finished with point ** chisel.
Finds: Found with a slot block (D026) and other architectural blocks.
