Description: Local Name: Seki Köyü Local Informant: Osman Güzel Local Information: Informant states that the piles of debris were dumped here about 5 years ago Latitude: 37.40.52.2 Longitude: 28.49.39.4 Elevation: 776m Description: Several piles of of debris from a farmstead or villa are dumped along side of road just north of Kavaklar. The piles are mostly field stones, but include worked blocks, tile (lots of late roof tile), pipes, pithoi, terracotta "trays", white marble revetment, and ceramics dating from Early Roman to Late Roman. The GPS point was taken over the first pile on left as road ascends. Finds: 3 Sample sherds collected from first pile on left
