Description: Black fine grain marble quarry northeast of Kırköy village. Currently being quarried by Gür Mermer from Nazili. No visible evidence of ancient quarrying. The marble contains many fossil shells, and a very similar fossiliferous dark gray-black marble is found used as revetment at the site, so presumably there was an ancient quarry that extracted this stone.en_US
