Resolutions of the plenary session of the District Offices of the Communist Party for Prague 2 . . ., held on August 23, 1968 at 8 a.m.

The resolutions fully support the 14th Congress and its call for a general hour-long strike to be held on Friday, August 23 at noon.

Points four and five read:

4. The plenary session . . . expresses its thanks and highly values the courageous stance and activity of . . . all citizens who have displayed in these days unusual civic courage. We express our conviction that none of the members of the district offices, nor any members or functionaries in our district, will be accessory to any kind of collaboration, which we consider to be incompatible with membership in the Communist Party.

5. The plenary session . . . turns to all Communists and citizens of the district to continuing maintaining calm and not to allow actions from our side that might bring serious harm to our country and citizens.
