Some members of the Communist government immediately sided with the Soviets and attempted to take over the Czechoslovak government. This flyer attacks four of them.
WHO SPEAKS FOR THE NATION?
Overnight we heard that four unnamed comrades, members of the Central Committee of the KSC and the revision commission, have turned to their regional party committees and are demanding the initiation of negotiations with occupying units. Many more could be found who, in this period both uncertain and of vital importance for the nation, are hesitating to list their names under an official proclamation. But this is an indication of their fears of being condemned by the nation as traitors who with their actions are inciting the nation to betrayal. To betrayal of the goals we have set up and to forgetting comrade Ducek and the other representatives of the party. To betrayal of those who, with all their heart and soul, are giving everything for the well-being of the common interests of the citizens of our state and who do not hesitate to lay down their lives for this just cause.
Even earlier we had doubts about whether comrades Bilak, Kolder, Barbirek and Indra had truly good intentions for our party's action program. They say that every rumor has its grain of truth. Therefore we turn to all the leading representatives of our state, to the members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and to delegates of the congress. Verify and condemn this method of action, which smells of the betrayal of freedom, socialism and throws shame on our country and our whole nation.
