Jobs: Experts see rise, consumers fear it won't meet demand

After years of decline, the US economy will finally start adding jobs—about 4 million through 2006—say U-M economists.

America will gain 4 million jobs by the end of next year


But the latest survey of consumers finds them fearing that the economy will “produce fewer additional jobs than they expected a few months ago.”
