University of Michigan knows flu

From the first effective influenza vaccine to the new nasal spray vaccine, the University of Michigan has been at the forefront of efforts to combat this viral killer.

While global public health officials are warning of a deadly new form of influenza that could spread worldwide, U-M faculty members are studying virology, disease transmission, mathematical modeling of infectious agents and many more topics related to influenza.
