Methods:
Specimen UMMP VP 85286 was scanned with a Nikon XT H 225ST μCT system housed in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan. Scans were collected with the following settings: energy settings, 75kV, 130uA; source to object distance, 57.824192 mm; scanned with 3141 projections; voxel size, x = y = z = 0.0104659242056336 mm; slice dimension (in pixels), x = 703, y = 693; number of slices, 1610 16-bit TIFF images. Additional metadata can be found in the xtek and ctprofile.xml files.
Format:
The reconstructed slice data from the scan are offered here as a series of TIFF images. At the time of posting, this format can be loaded in a variety of viewers, such as 3D Slicer, Amira, Avizo, Dragonfly, ImageJ, and VG Studio. Projections are not included in this dataset.
