The data included in this work were extracted from global magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) simulations of Ganymede's magnetosphere developed by Jia et al. (2008, 2009) to support the interpretation of Galileo Energetic Particle Detector (EPD) observations presented in Krupp et al. (2025) for five close flybys of Ganymede. There are five data files deposited here, which correspond to the five Galileo close flybys of Ganymede (G2, G7, G8, G28, G29) that are the focus of the analysis of Galileo EPD data by Krupp et al. (2025). Each data file contains the values of simulated plasma bulk flow velocity components (Vx for the G2, G7 and G29 flybys and Vz for the G8 and G28 flybys) as function of (X, Y, Z) locations in the XY plane that contains the Galileo trajectory. The velocity components and spatial locations are given in Ganymede-centered GPhiO coordinates, where the X‐axis is along the direction of corotation at the time of Galileo's closest approach to the satellite, the Z‐axis is parallel to the Jovian spin axis and Y completes the right‐handed set (positive toward Jupiter).
