Methods:
Specimen UMMP VP 81820 was scanned with a Nikon XT H 225ST μCT system housed in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan. Scans were collected with the following settings: energy settings, [no data]; source to object distance, 35.798748 mm; scanned with 1570 projections; voxel size, x = y = z = 0.012959 mm; slice dimension (in pixels), x = 776, y = 456; number of slices, 399 16-bit TIFF images. Additional metadata can be found in the xtek and vgi files.
Format:
The reconstructed slice data from the scan are offered here as a series of TIFF images. At the time of posting, this format can be loaded in a variety of viewers, such as 3D Slicer, Amira, Avizo, Dragonfly, ImageJ, and VG Studio. Projections are not included in this dataset.
