This directory contains 12 hours of simulation data from the Space Weather Simulation Framework. The output is compressed with extensions .dat.gz. The files can be read using TecPlot. The directory names explained: -SwIono = 2 fluid plasma with solar and ionospheric hydrogen -SwHIonoO = 2 fluid plasma with solar wind hydrogen and ionospheric oxygen -SwIonoO = 3 fluid plasma with solar wind and ionospheric hydrogen and ionospheric oxygen The past three directories have an inner boundary number density at 28 /cc -SwIonoO28amu = 3 fluid plasma with solar wind and ionospheric hydrogen and ionospheric oxygen with inner boundary mass density at 28 amu/cc (amu = atomic mass unit, cc = cubic centimeter) The subdirectory names: runFlipNorth: simulation with 4 hour south IMF followed by 8 hour north IMF runFlipSouth: simulation with 8 hour north IMF followed by 4 hour south IMF (IMF = interplanetary magnetic field File name explanation: Example: y=0_mhd_1_t00081900_n00477448.dat.gz 'y=0' indicates the cut of the 3d data. In this case, the equatorial cut is chosen t00081900 -> tddhhmmss indicates the time of the the simulation cut. In this particular instance the day of the simulation is 0, hour is 08, minute is 19, and seconds is 00 the file descriptor after the letter 'n' indicates the number of simulation timesteps undertaken.
