README FILE FOR "Central Mali agriculture documentaries" videos

These videos were made in the course of linguistic fieldwork in villages in central Mali between 2011 and 2014. Topics covered in these videos are: driving off grain-eating birds, gardening at Diondiori, cowpea farming, clearing a field, sweet potato farming, peanut farmingm rice harvest and threshing, millet farming in the plains, sesame farming, and roselle farming. The videos are in standard documentary form with captions in English. Primary funding by National Science Foundation and Guggenheim Foundation.
