Growth_dendros_data15-18.csv: This file contains tree growth data for  adult individuals (diameter at breast height >7cm) of six species during four time intervals (2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, -2017-18) The trees are distributed along an elevational range from 250 to 1000 m.a.s.l. located in belts every 50 m in elevation. The description of the columns is below:

plot: refers to the elevation in m, ranges from 250 to 1000.

species: tree species. in total we collected data on six species: Cecropia schreberiana Miq subspecies schreberiana (Urticaceae), Cordia borinquensis Urb. (Boraginaceae), Dacryodes excelsa Vahl (Burseraceae), Henriettea squamulosa (Cogn.) Judd (Melastomataceae), Micropholis garciniifolia Pierre (Sapotaceae), and Sloanea berteroana Choisy ex DC (Elaeocarpaceae)

rgr15: tree relative growth rate during 2014-2015 (mm mm-1 year-1). Obtained from dendrometer data. 

rgr16: tree relative growth rate during 2015-2016 (mm mm-1 year-1). Obtained from dendrometer data.

rgr17: tree relative growth rate during 2016-2017 (mm mm-1 year-1). Obtained from dendrometer data.

rgr18: tree relative growth rate during 2017-2018 (mm mm-1 year-1). Obtained from dendrometer data.
