dc.description.abstract | This paper shows that countries with an uneven distribution of factors across regions (lumpy countries) may export goods of different factor intensity to different trading partners. This phenomenon, here called Cross-Over Trade, has been observed in the empirical literature for a number of countries. Previous theoretical explanations have relied on transport costs. The current argument works with free trade. | en_US |
