dc.description.abstract | Census data was used to create maps of the most commonly spoken languages in Southeast Michigan (other than English) in the period 1990-2009. Poster illustrates the kind of work that can be done using geospatial data resources of the Clark Library, University Library, University of Michigan. This poster appeared in the exhibit, UM Library Celebrates Language, which opened February 7, 2012 in the Hatcher Gallery. The exhibit was offered in conjunction with the U-M LS&A theme semester: Language: the Human Quintessence. | en_US |
