    Abstract

Archived version of Dr. Juan Cole's blog, 'Informed Consent,' as it appeared on February 2, 2007. Includes Cole's posts from 2002 as well as an earlier 'War on Terror' email listserv from 2001. Entries examine issues and events in the Middle East and provide analysis of U.S. foreign policy. Given the date of this version, entries deal extensively with the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the global war on terror. Also includes Cole's thoughts on history and religion. Additional archived versions of the 'Informed Consent' blog are available at http://webarchives.cdlib.org/site/sw1tb0zb46
