Abstract
Documentary video about the history of the Ford Rouge River plant from the early 1920s to early 1940s that was produced by WDIV-TV in association with Kingberry Productions. The documentary features interviews of those who worked at the plant as well as archival footage and photographs and showcases the diversity of racial and ethnic backgrounds represented as well as struggles for labor rights, such as the ability to unionize. The documentary was produced, written and edited by John Owens; narrated by Emery King; Emery and Jacqueline Casselberry King executive producers.Other Identifiers
