Abstract
Video recording [32:55] of an interview with Dr. Bernice Sandler, Senior Scholar at the Women's Research and Education Institute. Sandler discusses her work with Jean Ledwith King and provides background and context on sex discrimination in the 1970s. This discussion includes the story of how Sandler discovered an executive order that would allow charges to be filed in cases of sex discrimination against colleges and universities holding federal contracts. The interview also includes stories about some of the cases King took on. A second video [1:31] shows Sandler walking to her office and flipping through a book.Other Identifiers
