    Abstract

Two versions of a documentary video titled 'The Power of One: Celebrating Jean Ledwith King' created by John Owens to be shown at the March 26, 2011 event renaming the Women's Center of Southeastern Michigan after Jean Ledwith King. The video features clips from interviews with King and several of her associates, colleagues, and clients including Bernice Sandler, Libby Maynard, Vicki Neiberg, Lynn Rivers, Deb Traxinger, and others. The documentary honors King's life and especially her legal work fighting sex discrimination. The final version is 15 minutes and 55 seconds in length. The longer version incorporates additional interview clips as well as extended versions of clips used in the final version, particularly regarding King's legacy and her work fighting for more equitable opportunities for women in sports. This longer version runs about 18 minutes and 45 seconds.
