History
Founded in 1994, the Society of American Archivists University of Michigan Student Chapter serves as a “means of introducing new archivists into the profession, as well as enhancing education by providing an additional focus for students to discuss archival issues, identify with the profession, and engage in professional activities” (https://umsisaa.wordpress.com/about/). They also host a range of social, professional, and academic activities for students.
