A new integrated method for scoring power, achievement, and affiliation motive imagery in verbal running text (speeches, interviews, literary works, etc.) is introduced as an aid to doing personality research at a distance. Documentation includes studies demonstrating interscorer and temporal reliability, validity, and convergence with the original TAT-based motive scoring systems. The integrated running text system, which is nonreactive and can be applied to any naturally-occurring verbal material, is an alternative to traditional personality testing and assessment.en_US
