dc.description.abstract | The author served as assistant producer and researcher for a public television documentary entitled "The Emerald Ash Borer: Path of Death," produced for the WKAR television series "Michigan at Risk." The 50-minute show illustrates the devastation wrought by an invasive wood-boring beetle from Asia, and explores the controversies inherent in finding solutions. Reported here are 1) the process of making the documentary, 2) the results of the research performed during preparation for the documentary, and 3) recommendations for future investigations. | en_US |
