This thesis examines the circumstances faced by at risk youth. It begins by presenting examples of four students who are considered "at risk" for different reasons. This thesis also defines the circumstances under which a student must exist to be "at risk" as well as intervention options that can improve the "at risk" youth's chances for current and future success.
