dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the use of Project-Based Learning (PBL) to enhance the training of health educators. This study examines the elements and evolution of PBL in contrast to traditional education. It looks at successful use of PBL in the classroom and training of educators in secondary and post secondary situations. Examples of health education programs using PBL are investigated and, finally, a case study of a successful program illustrates the significant results of Project-Based Learning in the field of health education. | |
