dc.description | "The Seven Ages of Man" is an opportunity to gather together many famous texts from medical history as people saw them hundreds of years ago. It is also an opportunity to reflect on how important discoveries in medicine have shaped culture and altered human history. The materials remind us vividly of all the life experiences we have in common with ancient Egyptians and ancient Greeks, as well as physicians, midwives, and scientists from the Middle Ages to the present. | |
