dc.description.abstractA revision of the South American species of Galphimia (Malpighiaceae) is presented. Four species, G. amambayensis, G. australis, G. brasiliensis, and G. platyphylla, are recognized. Full descriptions, a key, and two maps are provided. Each taxon is illustrated. One new species, G. amambayensis, is proposed.en_US
