We study the orbits of sequences of complex differentiable endomorphisms of complex manifolds. We are in particular interested in the following question: is a stable manifold of a hyperbolic automorphism always biholomorphic to complex Euclidean space? We show this question can be answered in the affirmative if a related conjecture in non-autonomous complex dynamics holds. We investigate this second conjecture, and prove several intermediate results.
