dc.descriptionThis module provides an overview of information retrieval (IR), also known as search, applied to knowledge based resources in the biomedical and health domain. The HIBB begins with definitions of key terms in the field. This is followed by a description of the components of IR systems. The remainder of the HIBB describe the types and provides examples of knowledge based resources, including bibliographic, full text, annotated, and aggregated resources.
