dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this thesis paper is to present the reader a history of barbecue, explain some of its regional differences, discuss how barbecue became entwined into the social, political and cultural fabric of America, and just maybe, answer the burning question of where the best real barbeque is to be found. The evidence presented could be surprising, hopefully educational, but most importantly, entertaining. | |
