dc.description.abstractThis paper presents information on housing - past, present and future directions. It examines the evolution of housing policies in the U.S., programs in the State of Michigan and more importantly, local efforts currently under way in the Flint, Michigan area. Through an examination of a variety of issues ranging from housing quality to the homeless, this paper concludes with a recommendation for positive action.
