Collection related to Lake Superior region history with emphasis on Michigan. Bulk of the materials are 19th century stereographs and photographs. Main subjects are mining operations, natural scenery, and communities, including those of the Ojibwe. Also includes 20th century maps, drawings, and reports related to mining and utility companies.
