dc.description.abstract | The repertoire for these recitals was chosen by focusing on three specific composers to gain a deeper understanding of the compositional style and technical requirements for each one. The first recital was dedicated to the music of Edvard Grieg and contained both vocal art songs and instrumental chamber music. The second recital was dedicated to the music of Viktor Ullmann and contained vocal art song music. The final recital was dedicated to the music of Sergei Prokofiev and contained instrumental chamber music. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, 8:00pm; Kerrytown Concert House.
