dc.description.abstract | This is a paper discussing findings from the Detroit Arab American Study of 2003, which interviewed a scientific sample of Arab Americans and Chaldeans in the Detroit area. It discusses participation patterns, as compared with data from a companion study of the general public. The results revealed patterns that were similar and different from the general public There is a discussion of academic research not dealing with Arab Americans and what it helps us understand. Thus conference paper is a longer version of the chapter later published by the Wilson Center. | en_US |
