Three recitals of solo and chamber music were performed in lieu of a written dissertation. The repertoire for each recital centered on different genres and styles of music. The second recital featured Italian song-like works for the clarinet, ranging from traditional 19th-century opera to the modernism of Berio. The final recital featured works by Eastern European composers. Friday, November 30, 2018, 8:00pm, Walgreen Drama Center, Stamps Auditorium, University of Michigan.
