dc.description.abstract	Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Pulmonary / Critical Care specialists have been portrayed as the leaders of the front line fighting the battle against COVID 19. This essay explores the importance of Family Physicians in fighting this battle. It is a reflection of a New York Family Physician witnessing changes in his hospital as the novel Corona virus pandemic surged, and how Family Medicine became the front line responders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.	en_US
