dc.description.abstractA series of oral interviews with Barbara Gepford, Presbyterian missionary to Lebanon and Hong Kong, and Presbyterian member and activist in multiple cities, including Dearborn, Michigan. Barbara was with her husband Bill in Lebanon and Hong Kong. She lived through some dramatic moments in world history. She was active in Presbyterian affairs, organizing local and international conferences, and serving in various capacities. She worked closely with Arab immigrants in the Detroit area.en_US
